Have you ever watched a car stunt in a movie and wondered how it's done? Well this is your chance to learn some of these amazing techniques. This experience will teach you precision manoeuvres to enable you to perform some basic stunt moves. You will be amazed what you will be able to make the car do after you have quickly mastered the art of correct weight transfer. The hand brake will be your best friend by the end of the session, and it does get physical! By the end of your experience you’ll be amazed what you can make the car do!!The perfect gift for anyone who has contemplated being a stuntman, even if it’s just for the day!
You will be taught using unique instruction techniques developed by our chief instructor who trained with the leading stunt academy in the US. The experience will take place on a contained tarmac paddock within the venue.
What you will learn:
-
J Turns - Reversing at almost maximum speed, come off the gas and flick the car around so that the car comes to a stop facing the opposite direction.
-
Reverse 180º - Reversing at almost maximum speed, come off the gas and flick the car around 180º, foot back on the gas and move the car forwards. The perfect 180º is performed as a single fluid movement.
-
Forward 180º - Travelling forwards, flick the car around 180º and continue driving... in reverse!
-
Box 90º - This is parallel parking with a difference! Driving the car forwards with the parking space ahead of you, pull up the handbrake to create a slide and then turn the wheel just enough to slide the car parallel into the parking spot.
-
Gated Slalom - With two cones representing a gate, the weight of the car is used to weave in and out of the gate.
-
Row of cones - The straight slalom is a test of driving precision as the car weaves in and out of a row of cones at high speed. The tighter the car is to the cones the faster your time.
