You and your crew will take it in turns to handle the controls as you drive through across and over any mud and water obstacles in your path! You are invited to arrive at the site at 8:30am for an introductory brief and refreshments.The military vehicle specialist will then spend time talking through the vehicles you will be driving and the course you will be using.
The training begins around 9:45am with each person learning how to operate vehicles over a variety of demanding terrain. There are further refreshments and a debrief at 1:00pm. Please note that the exact vehicles used are subject to availability but should include a selection of an Abbott Gun, Snowcat, APC, Stalwart and Scoutcar.

When can you go:
Saturday Mornings March-October
8.30am Guests arrive at the ACF site and meet in the 17th Century function room for refreshments and a brief on the days events.
9.00am One of our Military vehicle specialists will spend time talking through the vehicles you will be driving and the course you will be using.
9.45am The Training – each guest will spend time learning how to operate the vehicles over a variety of challenging terrains.
1.00pm Guests will return to the function room for a debrief and refreshments.

Restrictions:
- Maximum height is 6 ft 5
- Maximum weight 18 stone.
- You do not need a full driving licence to take part but if you do not hold a driving licence please bring this to the attention of the instructors at the beginning of the event.
Dress:
Loose, comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting dirty is recommended. Footwear should be sturdy and flat and ladies should wear trousers.
Spectators:
Spectators are welcome although this is not considered to be a good spectator sport. We are unable to accommodate children and animals on our site
