The morning will consist of driving the big toys - you will be able to get to grips with the Double Decker bus with a short wheel base and long overhang which takes a bit of getting used to, especially when manoeuvring into coned garages, pulling out of T-junctions, and circumnavigating roundabouts. You will be amazed at how you have to overhang junctions and turnings to be able to get round. The semi-automatic gear box is easy to change gear in a fashion, but not so easy as we want you to do it -properly!
Following this task, you then get to take on the Articulated lorry with a massive 45ft trailer! You will cover roundabouts, junctions and reach speeds of around 50 mph. With one participant to one instructor there is lots of time to master the four over four splitter 16 speed gearbox, reversing the 45 foot trailer into junctions and garages.
After lunch, you get to get down and dirty! The mighty 16 ton 360º JCB Digger (not a little mini digger, but the real thing) is first and you’ll be set to work building a new 4x4 hazard, or digging a new hole for our 4x4 courses.
Then it's off on the 4x4 course to put not only your digging skills to the test but also your off roading.... The challenging off-road course will stretch your driving abilities to the limit as you tackle our awesome course of steep slopes, water hazards and rutted tracks. In all, an exceptionally fun and challenging day for all!
