You will manoeuvre either a 13 ton Dennis RS or Scania 82m Fire appliance around a specially laid out course including top gear main roads, roundabouts, T- junctions, slaloms, garages etc, we'll make things as realistic as possible - the vehicle will be carrying a full equipment load and carrying 2 tonnes of water - water which you'll get to spray about with the hose and maybe even put out a fire!

When can you go:
This activity is run on weekdays and weekends throughout the year.
How long does the activity last:
45 minutes or 1 hour driving time with various start times both morning and afternoon. Expect to spend 1 Hour 45 minutes at the venue

Restrictions :
- You must be fit, able bodied and 17 year of age or over. You must be fit enough to enable you to climb into a high cab. We can give you some help if need be.
- Maximum weight is 114kg (18stone),
- Maximum height 1.93m (6ft 4”0, minimum height 1.57m (5ft2”). If you do not fit inside these measurements please contact our office as we may be able to accommodate you with prior notice.
- A full valid UK or European driving licence will need to be brought and shown on the day.
Spectator Information:
Guests are welcome and we encourage specators to get as close to the action as safely possible, however we do ask that all guests are prebooked. Spectators usually ride in the Fire Appliance for the whole course, depending on numbers.
Refreshments:
(Tea/coffee/hot chocolate/orange/biscuits) will be available free of charge for yourself and 3 guests. We charge £5 for extra spectators.
Weather Restrictions:
This activity will only be cancelled due to extreme weather conditions that limit participants ability to get to the venue, or to run the event in safety, in which case you will be notified in advance.
