This is your chance to be King of the Road as you take to the wheel of a mighty tractor unit and 40 foot trailer. After an initial briefing you will drive our articulated lorry and box trailer, and then unhitch and hitch onto the low loader and drive complete with 16 ton tracked digger to off road areas, about three quarters of a mile away.
There you will be shown how to take the chains off, unload the digger and set it to work. Back onto the low loader and back to the clubhouse. Our instructor will take you through a challenging course, and we won't lie, reversing can be difficult! So can mastering the 16 speed splitter gearbox.
But this is your chance to see if you've really got what it takes! Using a powerful 16 ton 360º tracked digger, not a little mini digger, but the real thing we will encourage you to move as much soil as possible in the time you have, either rough and ready digging a new hole for our 4x4 courses, or smoother more refined work such as cleaning out a ditch or levelling a road for example. Really good fun with your instructor seated beside you. A very popular course with women - the sense of power and achievement is fantastic.
